Howdy!

In this issue: I want to hear what niche community you’re in, hours of YouTube videos, ways to support this group and fun fact about Grandma

What’s your niche?

No seriously what niche group or community are you a part of?

The internet started as one place shared by everyone in the same space and today we’re able to find a specific space dedicated to any interest, hobby or passion you can imagine.

These days mine are mostly on Discord

• One for a podcast I listen to focused on US tech bros hitting on economy, sports and tech

• Another by Unusual Whales focused on international markets and trading activity

• Last one is for Lunch Money focused on personal finance and building apps on top of the platform

These are internet focused, but what about in person groups that share your interests.

Heck several people on this email list are building niche groups as a core part of their business. Because they are smart.

In today’s world, if you are a consumer focused company and you do not have your buyers talking with each other, you do not have valuable brand.

And maybe this is where you realize you don’t have this type of space. So if not, you need to either 1) find one or 2) create one yourself (pick number 2!!)

What Else is Taking Up My Attention

🦜 Bird Watching is Intense

As mentioned before, I’ve lightly gotten into bird watching. And if you enjoy documentaries and/or have even looked at bird and wondered what type it is, watch LISTERS: A Glimpse Into Extreme Birdwatching on YouTube. Funny and in depth review of the birdwatching world.

🥗 Healthy Vending Machines

The male urge to start selling high quality stuff from a vending machine in strategic locations (this one is at a gym).

Anyone want to try something like this together?

🍿 2000s Romantic Movies/TV x 2000s Indie Songs

I stumbled upon YouTube channels where they make music videos to songs by cutting up old movies and TV shows. Not sure how you are able to copyrights cleared for both of these, but I’ll take. My two favorite channels are this one for TV shows and this one for movies.

New Things Happening with Friends

• Do you have a cat? Talk to Hannah about her new cat startup please!

• James needs your support, buy his delicious Georgia sourced cocktail syrups and share with any bar managers you know

• Nik is hiring in Atlanta again

• Henry pulled off a friends event at Yankee stadium

• Dave qualified for the Boston Marathon by TWO seconds

Grandma’s Corner

Btw Grandma ran for public office at one point, did not win but it was not a fail.
